As things have been up and down in our household, I definitely have a whole new respect for single moms, and while I pray that our current situation is only temporary, I know that its possible that I could be joining the club full time. I've been very lucky to have super supportive family and friends, who have helped me through this time in my life.
With that said, we've been working super hard to make sure Lani's life goes untainted. This means doing alot of daddy/daughter dates, mommy/daughter dates, mommy/daughter/nini dates, grandparent/lani dates, and general creativity on everyone's part.
Last week we had a pizza and sundae party with my sister and nieces. The girls absolutely loved making their own pizzas, baking cookies, then building sundaes. I hope to have many more days like this in the future.
