11 months and almost done!!!

 

It's so hard to believe that my doll baby is  months today.

Updates:

~ She is walking

~ She calls me Aggy or Ash

~ She is completely obsessed with telephones.Everything is a phone and she puts it to her ear and says "Yes?" as if someone is asking her a question... too funny

~ She has teeth
~ Insists on feeding herself
~Loves playing "Where's Lani?"... for hours...
~ Dances whenever you say "go lani go"
~sings along to the radio or if someone sings to her
~rocks her head to music
~gets super excited when backyardigans is on tv

~ She still loves her fruit and hot dogs, but also likes chicken, french fries, noodles, and any type of beans

~She met Santa and was terrified 

~ She uses her ducky bath now

~ Wearing clothes

~ All of her play date friends have turned one

~ Celebrated her first thanksgiving and her 1st Christmas tree (she claps and says yeah whenever i turn on the lights) * she ate turkey, sweet potatoes, squash, mash potatoes
~survived her 1st black friday shopping
~Helped mommy and Nini decorate the grandparents Christmas tree (although she refused to touch the actually tree, and jumped whenever she felt it)   

~ Loves cake (thanks to all the bday parties) especially Red Velvet!

We are currently planning her  1st bday party, so pics will be coming soon.

Flashback a year ago.... "get out of my belly"

So today i sat and read through most of my preggo posts. 
it was so funny to look back and see the roller coaster of emotions and excitement and miserability (if thats a word) that pregnancy was.

its hard to believe that it was a year ago that i was complaining how "OVER" pregnancy i was....

And now my "sweet" baby is almost 1 and walking and talking (ok mostly babbling with some words sprinkled in)...

What a diffrence a year makes. I can honestly say that i feel so blessed to have such a precious gift from God...
And despite how miserable i was in the end, i wouldnt take a single moment of it back.
You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, and i cant wait to see what all you 2nd year has in store.
 Mommy loves you baby doll!

Ok blogger buddies... you know how much i love the holidays and my friends at shutterfly are hooking me up for the holidays.  I will be using Lani's pics with santa to make super cute holiday cards from their page.

I really love the “With Love Chartreuse”  and the “Keep Believing” card.

I just know Lani’s pics are going to be so cute on them.

One of the best things about shutterfly is also their blog capabilities… now don’t get me wrong, I love me some blogspot, but My doodlebugs play group’s site allow’s all the mommies to log in, add, view, print, share, and even purchase pics!!! Yeah!!! No more waiting for the super long email to load or the pic cd to come in the mail.

10 months = Miss Independent!!!!

I cant believe my sweet baby is 10 months old.  I'm almost in tears writing this post, because it makes me sad how much my baby has grown up.  

She is surviving the  cold weather very fashionably (as seen above)

she insists on feeding herself.  Hence a lot for table food

Today's breakfast, sausage, eggs, and pancakes

she had her first halloween which was a blast

She  is very social now and babbles up a storm

sometimes i'm convinced she is cursing at me by the tone of this babble .

Thanks to Miss Ana She makes this face everytime you say ojitos or she sees a camera

Thanks Ana... what a lovely habit! 

~She gives kisses when you say kiss kiss

~she dances and sings whenever music is on

~She has taken a step or two, but not completely walking on her own.  im guessing by next months post she will be walking up a storm.

~She wear 9 month clothes, size 3 diapers, weighs about 17 lbs (based on the diaper size), size 3 1/2 shoe

~she has 2 teeth but 2 more are peaking through.

~she is obsessed with electronics

Still no MAMA!!!!!

~drinking from her sippy cup every now and then

~Allergic to blueberries

~Loves sour stuff (pickles, lemons)

~eats: potatoes, crackers, pizza crust, chicken nuggets/tenders, loves loves loves french fries, avocado, jello, mango, peaches, peas, oranges, carrots, hot dogs, pears, and just about everything else

waives bye bye and constantly clapping for herself

10 Year Reunion

So it's official! IM OLD! 

It was my 10 year high school reunion.  It was nice to see a lot of old friends and catch up.

Doodlebug Halloween Carnival

Lani's school Hosted a Halloween carnival, so it was a great chance for our "Doodlebug" playgroup to get together!

Here is my little love bug in her adorable costume on the way to the carnival!
